Hampton Inn Lexington - Historic District
Ranked #1 of 16 Hotels in Lexington

Reviewed 12 May 2014

The Hampton Inn of Lexington was like stepping back in time. There was history involved with this hotel, which was interesting. The location is beautiful the way it is nestled on a hill in the trees but yet within walking distance to downtown. My husband and I enjoyed our complimentary breakfast on the patio and then walked the historical streets in Lexington. We then drove about 20 minutes to Natural Bridge and hiked the trail there. We enjoyed our stay at this location.

In Lexington, VA, Hampton Inn took an historic home and transformed it into a quaint, beautiful hotel. The three times I have stayed at this hotel have been easily the best experiences I have had in any hotel Lexington, VA has to offer.

Delightful and friendly historic property! Lovely common areas and clean rooms. Had a lovely deluxe king with sitting room. Next time we will perhaps stay in one of the historic rooms. Easy walking distance to historic Lexington.

Stayed at this Hampton Inn years ago, loved it then & love it now. Like the historic theme, the rooms, the continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly & accomodating. Would definitely return. The town of Lexington has a lot to offer, both historic and misc. There are many shops, restaurants, a movie theater. The William & Lee College, Virginia Military Institute, historic cemetery and Lee Chapel

Great place to stay. Very convenient to historic sites in an historic city. In fact, this hotel is an historic site. The staff was very helpful, and were able to give great directions and recommendations for restaurants, etc.

We had a wonderful weekend at this hotel. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Internet and TV worked flawlessly. Breakfast was in some ways the usual complimentary, but in an immaculate space, with great care to keeping everything fresh and well stocked. The fresh fruit and coffee were the best we've ever had in a complimentary breakfast. Very, very quiet yet walking distance to town shops and restaurants. Easy access to highways.
