Great local restaurant. I have never had a bad meal there. Always neat specials and great selection of wine. Very friendly and a great atmosphere

This is one of my favor restaurants. The atmosphere is very nice but casual. The service is always impeccable. The staff is very knowledgeable about not only the food but also the wine. They are very willing to recommend a nice wine with your meal but not the most expensive to up sell but the wine that would go best with the meal. The filet is by far the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

An unexpected treasure! Got a glimpse of open kitchen on our way to table in front room. Charming and comfortable decor! We had warmed peanuts to start which arrived in a labeled bag. My husband got the special butternut squash soup which he described as "exquisite." He rarely comments so this is high praise indeed! My shrimp and grits was delicious! Service was great! Waiter was knowledgeable and friendly! The presentation was great and room comfortable and cozy with fireplace aglow. We went with two other couples before a show so were among first diners to arrive. By the time finished the pace was packed! My only regret is that we didn't have time for desert! Can't wait to go back!

We have eaten at this restaurant about four times now. The servers are very knowleable about the menu and the food has always been extremely good. It is always an interesting menu with something for everyone. We have some adventurous eaters with our group and it is nice they have something beyond the usual choices. The presentation is beautiful. We always bring our own wine and pay the nominal corkage fee. My compliments to the staff and the chef.

Went for Sunday brunch. Interior is casual, clean, and charming with basic decor. Very comfortable, cafe style. Squash soup and clam chowder were excellent. Pork lardons appetizer was excellent. Pan-roasted salmon salad, pulled pork sandwich, steak and eggs, and eggs Benedict were excellent. Entrees were $15-20 with good, but moderate, portion sizes. Service was excellent (Annie was our server), and all staff were professional and friendly. We live 20 minutes away, and we hope to make this a regular dining spot.
