This restaurant is a long drive from DC, it took us an hour from No. VA burbs. It's more upscale than you might expect to find way out here. The servers on a Sat night were all young, but we were pleasantly surprised at their depth of knowledge of the food, and especially the wine list, which is extensive but filled with things you may never have heard of. The level of in-house training here is extraordinary. The entree's of sea bass and a steak were delicious, arrived very hot and service was spot-on. Portions are moderate (okay with us). The chocolate sampler dessert was primo and really hit the spot. Prices slightly high, about $200 for a couple with 3 courses, a moderately priced bottle of white wine, and one glass of dessert wine (Fabbiolo black raspberry, try it!). Our only small complaint is the noise, bare walls and metal kitchen do nothing to nullify conversations, when full it was WAY too loud for a romantic evening.
