Pizza was good, but the calamari was too chewy and over cooked. Survice was fast and helpful. Very limited seating, so take out was the better way to go.

My wife and I were riding the motorcycle, avoiding highways, and came across Vito's. It proved an excellent choice. The establishment is clean, and the service was fast and friendly. The menu had the typical Italian restaurant offerings. But it was kind of a warm day, and we were in the mood for salads. We both chose the chicken walnut salad, and they were delicious. The salads were ample, and the chicken was done perfectly. If we had a complaint, it would be that they serve Pepsi products. We're admitted Coke snobs. That being said however, their unsweetened tea was excellent.

We stopped here for lunch while we were visiting the area. Virginia is not known for it's Italian food, let alone a sleepy town like Lovingston. But at Vito's, they make their own sauce, meatballs, even pizza dough. The red sauce was good, not too sweet like many places offer. Good pizza, good sandwiches. We will give a try again next time we are in town. And having grown up in a Sicilian house, that is high praise.

I had the opportunity to eat here with friends and our mutual set of kids - good pizza, friendly staff and comfortable place. Good prices. Nothing unpleasant; solid, good food.

Nice little place, with really good pizza. Dough tasted homemade, with a really good crisp on the bottom. Tons of ingredients on the combo. We also ordered mozzarella sticks, which were very good. The breading was very crunchy, unlike the soggy ones you get most places. Service was also very good and quick. We would definitely go back, and maybe try some of their Italian dishes. Only negative is that if you sit right in the front, you do get a little heat from the pizza oven. Might be nice in the winter, but not so in August.
