Good, clean hotel. We would probably stay here every time but it is really hard to get in and out of the side road to Ward's Road, and beyond if there is any traffic at all. Needless to say, we were here for CFAW, so the traffic was constant. Other than that, I'm not a fan of sleeping on a bouncy house mattress. Luckily, we got the two bed room, so I slept on one, and hubby on the other, so we didn't keep waking each other up. Please change out the sleep number beds! Otherwise, it is a great choice for Liberty parents, if you can get on Ward's Rd!

Thank you for taking the time and effort to write a review on Tripadvisor for our hotel. We certainly appreciate you being our guest and I certainly understand the challenge you experienced trying to get in and out of our hotel. There is a stop light just beyond the entrance that I use to get into the hotel when traveling south on Wards Rd. I find that it is a lot more convenient making the U turn at the light and slipping into the road that leads to the hotel. With our mattresses, there is a dial on both sides so that each sleeping guest can have their level of comfort without disturbing their partner. I understand that some of our guests love the beds and some would rather have the conventional type, it's all in the preference of the individual. Looking forward to having you again soon!

We've stayed at many hotels over the years and we love Hilton's Garden Inns, including the one in Lynchburg. The rooms are clean, relatively spacious, the staff is fantastic, and the facilities are great. About the only downside is that no free continental breakfast is offered, except full breakfast at about $10 per person.

You are correct, we do not have a complimentary continental breakfast but we do offer a full made to order all you can eat breakfast for $10.95 plus tax per person. The next time you book, be sure to ask for the "Bed and Breakfast" package, it only adds $5.00 per person for the breakfast! See you again soon!

During our stay (rooms with connecting door) Day 1- Beds were not made-up, trash not emptied, no clean towels and coffee and cups not refilled. Concierge apologized profusely and brought us clean towels. Day 2- One bed made, trash emptied, clean towels in one room...only clean bath-mat in the second. The manger did waive rooms for one day and provided comp breakfast on final morning.

We had a little trouble finding the hotel as it sits back from the street and there was no sign at the beginning of the road that leads back to it. When we checked it, the desk clerk, Robert, was very efficient and very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We decided to eat dinner at the hotel as were tired from driving 12 hours. None of the tables were set up so we weren't sure if this was where dinner was being served. We were told to sit down and the bartender would serve us. We ordered the fish and chips. The sweet potato chips were burned and black. The bartender ordered another batch. They were cooked properly this time but so overly salty, they were inedible. We thought possibly the bill would have been adjusted for that but it was not. There were no other customers for dinner while we were there but I guess I see why. At breakfast the next morning, we ordered French toast which was dry and tasteless. There was a nice selection of fresh fruit and yogurt, juices and good coffee so we filled up on that. This is a very nice hotel but I would eat somewhere else the next time.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. It is great to see that Robert at our Front Desk was able to take care of you in a helpful and friendly way. I apologize for what seems to be a not so pleasant restaurant experience for both dinner and breakfast. The goal of the new HGI Lobby program called "Project Grow" is to encourage guests to come down and use the space as an engaging community experience to refresh and recharge. This is why the tables in the dining room for dinner are not set up for dinner time. We want to encourage guests to come down and use all of the lobby and restaurant, and not feel as though they are imposing on the restaurant during dinner hours. I apologize for us not meeting your expectations in regards to the quality of the food. We stayed here on a Saturday night, easily booked the room through HHonors app the night before. Check-in was speedy, they do not allow pets (thank you!!! This is one reason the place is so well-kept!!). The room was spacious for the two of us, Wi-fi access was speedy enough for browsing, bathroom was adequate and everything was clean. The free coffee in the lobby is a nice touch. The staff were very personable. We would definitely stay again.

Had never stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn before. Member of another hotel's rewards program. Compared prices and the HGI beat them, but I wasn't sure what to expect. Found beautiful, large lobby. Nice, large clean room. Air conditioner worked well. Would definitely stay at this location and would stay at HGI again.

This hotel is located in a great area with plenty of restaurants and shopping near by. Its not too far from Central VA Community College and Liberty University. The hotel staff is great. The room and bathroom are very clean. The hotel service great food and the bartender makes a good drink.
