Pick up product from them every Saturday at the market. We love their fresh baked bread and pastries! My son wouldn't survive without his blueberry muffin Saturday tradition.

First and foremost, the croissants are phenomenal. Key lime pie can so often be a sickly sweet, heavy gut bomb, but Lorraine’s key lime tart is amazingly good – with the perfect amount of sweet and tart and a light texture. Every loaf of bread I’ve had has been wonderful, and the madeleines make you understand the hold they had on Proust. That’s just a sampling of the deliciousness that is baked up at Lorraine Bakery and to be honest, everything I’ve had from Lorraine is top notch.

I go to the bakery at least once a week to stock up on fresh made bread. I haven't tried a bread that wasn't delicious! The pastries...yummy! I am hooked on the spinach and feta croissant. The almond croissant is also delicious. Get there early if you want something particular, everything sells out quickly on Saturday morning. The coffee is pretty good too.

This is a small bakery inside a modest indoor antique mall. They serve wonderful little pastries and fresh baked breads. It's very European and staff is efficient, owners always present and cheerful. We like the lemon danish and the apple danish. Made with quality and not overly expensive. Each danish is around $3. Lots to choose from...expect long lines in the warmer months as this bakery sells out quickly. Best to arrive before 10am to make sure you get your pick. Another tasty option are the crepes. (This place is located directly across the street from The White Hart)

We stop here for Sat b'fast when we visit Lynchburg. I've always had the wonderful pastries, but this time I tried a savory crepe... with black forest ham, egg, cheese and tomato. Except that they use the same batter for sweet and savory crepes... this could have been an offering in Brittany. Doesn't matter which pastry you pick... they're all fresh and good. And their bread offerings look good also.
