Was in town for business and went downtown for a change. Since I am a bit of a train buff I ended up near the Norfolk Southern track downtown and came across this place which happens to be in the N&W Depot built in the early 1900's. It was a nice evening so I chose to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Got to see a couple of trains come by and enjoy a good meal. Had their prime rib with potato and salad. Their dressing are obviously made in house and are delicious. The steak was cooked to order and was very good. My server, Michelle was attentive and always close by and checking in but not intrusive. Not really bad but to note that the meal came before I was half way through my salad. The one I'll call annoying thing was they have "torches" outside that must have diesel fuel in them for fuel. They put off an odor and I noticed a sooty residue fell around close by. That said if you are in downtown Lynchburg give them a try. The food and service are well worth the price.
