Stayed at Glaramara for 2 days with our running club; to socialise and ry out some of the outdoor activities available from this centre.
House set in stunning location with fab views of surrounding hills, and staff friendly on arrival.
Very disorganised with "room management" - our group was 2 rooms short; so 2 people who had booked a single room ended up sleeping on mattresses on the floor in twin rooms with 2 others! Bad start - but the only negative point of the break.
Food was good, and staff very helpful/friendly.
The activity leaders who drove us to, and accompanied us on our chosen activities of orienteering (nice relaxing couple of hours at Whinlatter) and Via Ferrata (at Honister - very exciting, would thoroughly recommend) were knowledgeable and professional throughout.
All in all a good value break in beautiful surroundingsMore
