Our visit to Pixie's Café was OK. The food was average, but the service was good and the staff was friendly. As this was our first time at this café, we were not aware that we had to pay at the register, so we waited for awhile for our check until our waitress told us to pay at the register, and she didn't even offer to show us a dessert menu. This seemed to be a family business and I was concerned about the children that were permitted to run in and out of the kitchen - a definite health risk for cleanliness. But the café was busy which suggests that the locals find it a nice place for their meals.
