A very low range hotel that is recommended in the Morocco guidebooks by Lonely Planet and Rough Guides.
The price is 60dh per person so 120dh for a double.
The room (room 8) consisted of a double bed and a mini table. Extra comforters are provided and they were needed (windows were open and it is an exterior wall so it was very cold). To give you an idea, for mid march I slept under 3 blankets while wearing jogging pants, thick socks, a long sleeve thermal and a sweater.
Our room was on the third floor with a steep and narrow staircase so be prepared to climb stairs. Our room was on the same floor as the toilet which is not a flush toilet it is one with the hole in the ground. The sink was located just outside our door.
Also above all the room doors (and the wc) there are openings so ALL noises and voices are heard as well as additional light comes in.
There was parking available on the street outside.
There is no wifi at this hotel. We did not have time to compare to other hotels in the area but in comparison to the 50dh/person we paid in Marrakech this is much less quality.
Also word will get around that you are staying there... The carpet shop owner beside the hotel saw us in the restaurant and started the promotion for his shop and asking us to come visit for free the next morning.. We left early enough to not be bothered by him any longer.
