This was a return visit to Ouilidia after six years, and nothing had changed, it was still impeccable.

We had the most fantastic room overlooking the lagoon. All the staff were amazing, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, they could not do enough for you.

When we arrived there were only 6 guests and we felt quite upset as it filled up for one night as we selfishly wanted it all to ourselves, and why wouldn't you, its heavenly.

Each morning we had breakfast on our private terrace, overlooking the lagoon and the crashing Atlantic Ocean beyond, and shared our crumbs with the tuneful birds. The only noise you can hear is the wind, the waves and the birds. Giant Storks, Spoonbills Egrets and Herons are abundant, together with many other birds. The hotel will lend you binoculars and have provided a bird id card in our room.

Pre dinner drinks were set up each night in a different spot. The most perfect for us was on the beach, rugs and cushions had been set out and a huge fire blazed as the sun set and disappeared into the ocean.

Sublime.

Dinner for me was always fresh seafood, and was always delicious. Returning to our room after dinner, to a roaring log fire just added to the perfection this space offers.

Whoever is behind the La Sultana brand is genius. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

La Sultana is a dream come true. Much needed rest and relaxation after working in Casablanca. Don’t be afraid of the drive down it’s quick and easy from Casa. When we arrived we received such a warm and lovely reception. Our room was fabulous, every detail is thought of by the staff. This hotel is clearly run by a talent and that talent is the general manager Mr. Khalil Guerraoui. He has taught ever single person about the care and detail that is required to make a place truly magical and it shows throughout the hotel down to every member of the staff. They are proud of where they work, they are proud of their work and their efforts in all the details. This type of attention only comes when the person at the top truly understands how to make an experience the most fantastic. La Sultana is the perfect respite from the fun but exhaustive visits to the Medina’s and souks across Morocco. This a the perfect place to go at the end of your Moroccan holiday to relax after the hustle and bustle. It offers a gorgeous spa/hammam with heated pool. Beautiful outdoor pool overlooking the lagoon to the ocean and gardens to walk through. The food is fabulous. Fresh fish caught right outside and fresh vegetables from their garden.
JUST DO IT!! I can’t recommend enough. Enjoy yourself, soothe your soul and let Mr Khalil Guerraoui and his amazing staff treat you like family. I will DEFINITELY be back!!
