If your going to stay at lonely beach and you want comfort then stay here. The rooms are clean but the beds hard. We stayed in the garden view villas and every morning at 5:00am the roosters in the neighborhood woke us up! The front desk does not speak very clear English. Which was hard when we had questions about the island. Breakfast is good and the wifi is quick. The pool is refreshing. In all this is a trendy place. But the service could be friendlier. Also there is one garden villa that looks straight into a sewage pool. Wouldn't recommend that one.

We stayed over New Years for about 60 per night. Beautiful bungalow/villa. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds are super comfy (which is sometimes hard to find in SE Asia). Cool restaurants and bars a short walk up the street, yet it's very quiet here. Although waterfront, not great for swimming, but the pool makes up for that. Also a short walk to lonely beach. We enjoyed this area much more than white sand beach; there's way more character and way less t shirt shops. Stop by The Living Room up the street beside stonefree bar and say hi to Mod. She speaks very good English and can help give local advise.

Area around the Hotel... so so. The white sand beach at 10 minutes of the Hotel, so so as well.

Staff : Very nice !!! We thought the staff was great. Until we forgot our camera when we left the restaurant 10 minutes before the closing . We were certains we would get it back since we were the only ones left in the place and that all employees were so friendly. We stayed for three nights, having breakfast, lunch and diner at the restaurant. Unfortunately we did not get it back. The barman confirmed that he cleaned the table two minutes after we left, and that the camera was not on the table. Only empty glasses. Our room was the one right beside the terrasse. It was our mistake because WE forgot it. And even a week later, I still can believe that it can be one of them.

If we would have leave the restaurant right after diner, than it could have been anyone. But the place was closing, we were four people at the table and I took a video 10-15 minutes before we left. Sometimes circumstances says it all. I don't care about the camera and I understand that it's tempting to take a camera. I cried for all the pictures and videos that we will never get back. Our trip in Laos, the Gibbon Experience and so many other unics and specials moments we shared...

Otherwise, very nice pool, very clean room. We had a great massage. Good music at night. Yes the bed is hard, but it was like that in other expensives Hotels we've been in Thailand. One last thing, the pool closes at 7:00p. A bit too early...

My friend and I have just left the warapura resort and were very sad to go. We stayed in a sea front cottage and had an amazing private decking area right on the sea front. The room was clean and modern with everything you would need for a relaxing time in koh Chang. Yea there were a few ants but that's expected in a tropical climate!
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The resort is located near some building work but we were not disturbed during our stay. It's close enought to go party but far enough away to be quiet when you want to sleep.
We would love to return here!!!!!

I have been to Warapura many times and have stayed in 3 room types, the seafront villa, the poolside villa and the cozy villa. All of them are great. You will find better price on latestay.com esp if you go in a low season (May - October) which is the monsoon season in Thailand. Believe me, the hotel is fantastic even though when it rains. They have a seaside restaurant that you can sit, zipping coffee, beer, cocktails of your choice. The sunset there is a can't miss. The swimming pool is good and never crowded. They have dvd players and some dvds to lend if you want a quiet night.

I think this is place is perfect for young couples. It's lovely, it's private and it's not pricy.

However, please note that there's no sand beach at this resort.

Room Tip: The seafront villa is the best. However, to save your budget you can go for cozy cottage or other ty...

My girlfriend and loved it here - we were only planning on staying a couple of nights but ended up staying for 6!

The whole resort has a great relaxing atmosphere. The small infinity pool was lovely, the cosy cottage was pleasant and the seafront restaurant is a delight (especially at sunset!)

If you're looking for some upmarket cottages with a nice pool in Lonely Beach then this place takes some beating - the best place we haved stayed in Thailand and would deinitely go back

Room Tip: Cosy cottage is fine but the seafront villa's looked stunning!

Great to come back here after just under a year to see how this place has evolved.

Sadly, Mui (front of house star) has moved on which has taken a little bit away from the experience. But the new team is still quite good.

Same room as last year, with all five of our family in together. Lovely outdoor shower, OK size and cute balcony.

Restaurant for breakfast, overlooking the ocean continues to set a wonderful pace for each day. We ate there for dinner for a special occasion and the team worked to make it great (and it was). The new day bed area was a welcome addition for afternoons of relaxation.

Downsides was the hard mattresses and no duvets for the kids.

A great spot to base yourself away from the chaos of White Sands. For us, it's the Lakes Entrance (Sleepy coastal town, Victoria, Australia) of Asia.
