Description: Paddy’s Palms is Koh Chang’s first Irish pub, located just up the hill from the beautiful White Sand Beach. The pub is set on two storeys and displays Irish memorabilia throughout – bar signs, various mirrors advertising Irish fayre, framed sports jerseys, the map of the rugged Irish coastline even an old bicycle. Many of these items are from the owners’ family pub in Kilkenny, Ireland. Bar stools, leather sofas, tables and an outdoor seating area give you the choice of comfort Paddy’s Pub, as you would expect serves draught Guinness and Kilkenny as well as a wide selection of beers, spirits, ciders and cocktails in a traditional Public House atmosphere. Live sports are shown on big screens and a pool table is upstairs for customers to play away the day. If you need to catch up on your e-mails bring your laptop and use the free wireless internet. The menu offers a wealth of European and Thai food with classics pub dishes such as Irish stew, big breakfasts, and shepherds pie. Join us to enjoy the special Sunday roasts of beef or chicken. If these don’t fill you up then try one of the home made desserts. A children’s menu is also available so families are well catered for.

“A Nice Escape”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 April 2014

Paddy's Palms is a must visit for me each time that I stay on Koh Chang. The pints are cold, the happy hour is very happy, the food is great (the carvery on Sunday is a must) and the location is perfect. Get in!

“Great Alternative to Thai”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014 via mobile

When on Kih Chang and missing a good hearty meal and a break from the chillis then PP is just the place.

Ordered on a Sunday and had the roast which was very good. Has been consistently good for many trips to the island.

A very good alternative if you need a rest from the chillis and want some good food.

I enjoy the Sunday Roast and the atmosphere. Seating could be a bit more organized but not really a problem.

“Best place on koh Chang!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 March 2014 via mobile

I searched a lot of Thailand for the perfect Irish bar and I found it In koh Chang! The food was out of this world and everyone was so friendly! They have plenty of different ciders to try from and it was perfect sitting outside in the sun! When I return to koh Chang I will definitely be staying here!

“Ciders, beers, big portions”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2014

Been there twice, for dinner, in Jan-Febr 2014. Both times we walked in without advance booking, still they accommodated the 5 of us without much trouble.

Portions were generous, food was tasty. Service was OK, nothing to complain about. We preferred bottled dark Erdinger to all draught beers they had. Also they have 6-10 ciders to cater to different tastes and wallets.

Good place to have solid, substantial food along with 3-4 drinks. I would recommend this place for having a relaxed dinner with the family and/or friends.
