Description: Paddy’s Palms is Koh Chang’s first Irish pub, located just up the hill from the beautiful White Sand Beach. The pub is set on two storeys and displays Irish memorabilia throughout – bar signs, various mirrors advertising Irish fayre, framed sports jerseys, the map of the rugged Irish coastline even an old bicycle. Many of these items are from the owners’ family pub in Kilkenny, Ireland. Bar stools, leather sofas, tables and an outdoor seating area give you the choice of comfort Paddy’s Pub, as you would expect serves draught Guinness and Kilkenny as well as a wide selection of beers, spirits, ciders and cocktails in a traditional Public House atmosphere. Live sports are shown on big screens and a pool table is upstairs for customers to play away the day. If you need to catch up on your e-mails bring your laptop and use the free wireless internet. The menu offers a wealth of European and Thai food with classics pub dishes such as Irish stew, big breakfasts, and shepherds pie. Join us to enjoy the special Sunday roasts of beef or chicken. If these don’t fill you up then try one of the home made desserts. A children’s menu is also available so families are well catered for.

Nice and easy, good pub grub, Irish beers - what more can one want for occasional change of scene and taste of "west"...

“Nice Irish style pub. Pity about the staff”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

Air conditioned, nicely laid out bar with all the things you would expect from an Irish bar except the bar staff were disinterested. A private conversation between me and my friend was listened to by a staff member and reported to the owner. It was an innocent conversation but taken out of context.

“Expected more”
Reviewed 26 April 2014 via mobile

Very nice with air conditioning but thats as far as the pleasantness goes. I ordered a b.l.t baguette which was at best average with stale crisps as an after thought on the side of the plate. Very expensive and more of an expats vibe to the place didn't feel very welcoming. Just your box standard token irish bar. On the plus side they do show sports but only the games the management want to watch.

“A Nice Escape”
Reviewed 12 April 2014

Paddy's Palms is a must visit for me each time that I stay on Koh Chang. The pints are cold, the happy hour is very happy, the food is great (the carvery on Sunday is a must) and the location is perfect. Get in!
