We spent there 2 nights (family w/5 people, 3 rooms). The price is really cheap compared to other hotels in the island and the rooms are nice. The staff is super nice, helpful and efficient. We lost a bag during a trip and they went personally to take it and brought it to us. The swimming pool and the bar of the resort are both really nice. If you want to spend some night in Koh Chang, I think Coral Resort is the good place to stay at.

Location is great .quiet but a short walk from a busy street with bars and restaurants.
Big minus is there is no Beach
Big plus is as mentioned the location and the pool
There was a restaurant at the pool but that was closed... So no drinks at the pool
The breakfast is below average but grows on you.
The staff is very nice
And especially for families a great resort. ( - the no Beach)

There are beaches close by but are harder to reach then they make believe.

The whole stay was positive

this is my second trip to koh chang..i booked this hotel just for 2 days as i wasnt sure how it would be.i ended up staying here for almost a week.
the only negative was it seems a bit run down eg. the bathroom has a funny stink at times and the pool chairs could have been better. the sea is also not accessible from the hotel .
if u are willing to overlook these things its a wonderfully located resort with a great staff team. Bon was very helpful and her dedication to her work is visible.
i would recommend to go for any of the sea view rooms as the view is incredible , you wake up to the sounds of the sea.
the breakfast was decent. overall a nice experience if u have a budget.
and yes the pool is fantastic and has a great view of the sea.

The resort offers rooms and nice little houses with seaview, We stayed in the first row semi-detached house with a nice view. The room was O.K. but according to our friends we were travelling with the bathroom needs some refreshment. We are not demanding tourists so we felt all right with it.... clean with no bad smells, in typical Thai style. Comfortable beds, a spacious room with some nice patio to sit and watch sunsets. Laundry avaible - 50bht per kilo. Tasty breakfasts - everyone will find sth for themselves. The resort does not have its own beach but the way to the nearest north part of Kai Bae is easy and short. According to me staying at Kai Bae is the best choice if you want to explore the island. In the south part of the beach there is a little harbour where you can go for a snorkling trip by boat or rent a kayak for reaching the nearest islands what is a great fun, beautiful wild beaches with lots of colourful fish within a few meters from them. If you want to go to White Sand Beach or Bang Bao Village take a songthaew for 50bht per person and 100bht (bang bao is more expensive). You can also rent a motorbike for 250bht a day from Coral Resort but drive carefully. The staff in the resort are very friendly and helpful people. We really appreciate their help when it was needed .

During our, my husband and i, vacation in Koh Chang island, CORAL RESORT was the best bangalow. We moved our resort about 5 times, we stayed in 3 bangalows and 2 superior rooms and among those Coral resort's bangalow was far more better. Spacious and clean especially the bed and sheets are new, i guess. Most of the facillities such as tv, minibar fridge and air-con are in good conditions. The bathroom was also clean and spacious.

The best part of this place is the big and beautiful swimming pool. Water is pretty clean even it's outdoor pool. It's big enough to swim so bring your swimming goggles. I'm not sure whether they wipe the sun beds off everyday or not, but it's clean enough to lay down for tanning. There are a few sun beds so don't have to rush right after breakfast to get your own sun beds, lol. You can see palm trees and flower bushes and hear the sound of ocean wave while you swim. Also nice bar just next the pool.

We spend very meaningful 3 days at this place, we would like to visit again.
