The prices charged at this place are absolutely not worth it. While the hotel is new the finishings are terrible and within months I am sure the rooms will look very run down. It's strangely empty as well.
The hotel is small - maybe 10 rooms only - and reasonably nice but it was not designed well at all.
The shower was terrible - cold and no water pressure. I was told by the only english-speaking staff that there was a problem with the water and it'd be fixed in 20 mins. It was the same for the 24 hours we were there.
The pool is nice, but the only to places to get in the pool (i.e where the stairs are leading in to the pool) are covered up with plants! It's very odd and means you either have to jump in from the ledge (which is not recommended since it's shallow) or push through bushes to get to the stairs.
The beach is non-existent. It's a man-made beach but you can't swim there because it's shallow and right near mangroves. I specifically asked the receptionist upon booking if there was a beach and she lied and said yes. It's not a beach, it's a bunch of rocks and mangroves. Disappointing. The photo on the website is misleading.
You can see sunrise on this side of the island but not the stunning sunsets so if you want to really enjoy the island I recommend staying somewhere else - near White Sands or one of those beaches.
I notice a mixed pot of reviews on this hotel - and each time a so-called General Manager 'Natalie' replied. I did not see any Natalie at the hotel - I assume she is a westerner by her name or she's Thai and uses an English name. Either way, the service at your hotel was atrocious and if you do hope to take people's comments seriously then stop just commenting on people's comments here and actually speak to the people who stay in the hotel in person.
