Have been there in low season, not much to choose from so we bought all 4 items that were offered. Best was the croissant, which tasted like an ok-ish German croissant. The rest (chocolate fudge) was awful.
For me the most important reason was how the Swiss owner treated his Thai stuff. The guy was trembling out of fear to make a mistake. Might be a one time experience (and I am more than happy if it is so) , but it looks to me like a post - colonial attitude that one should not reward by shopping there.
Let's show some respect for the local people, even if are not European and only earn a few cents. Please keep an eye open and share similar experiences or disprove me if I am wrong.
