I really enjoy my stay at the hotel the set up was good the food and the staff at the restaurant was perfect location was good and convenient really enjoy the pool and spa service overall this is an outstanding hotel

We loved this place and will definitely go back. We had a really nice, spacious family room with a nice open area and outside for us to sit when it rained. The prices in the restaurant were as cheap or cheaper than eating out of the hotel, which, was a pleasant change from hotels that add a massive mark up on their food and drinks, The gym is pretty good and the breakfast also. I would recommend Ramyana Resort. It didn't have a beach, but mopeds are easy to hire for only 200 thb a day.

good experience and nice staff but the hotel far from the beach ,on the night keep quiet and hotel near the street the location easy to find, and can use the beach at the dava hotel (I'm not remember the name of hotel)

We stayed two weeks and were quite happy with the room. Breakfast was nice, staff really tried to take care of us and the transfers to the beach worked fine. The pool was very beautiful and very small. I might have been happier with softer mattresses, but I survived.
Garden is very nice and all in all we were content. Staff was helpful (let's forget the dreadful incident with the birthday cake and crying b-day spouse, shall we... and if you ask: please get in touch with the manager if you would like to get something that differs from a la carte menu)

The hotel might pay more attention to the canals in the area: if the water is not moving, there are definitely mosquitos. And there were plenty of both.
Rooms were spacious and clean though we had to ask the staff to wash the bathroom to get rid of the mold. That however is not an issue here: mold exists even how hard you scrub. Otherwise the cleaning ladies were absolutely sweet and took well care of their tasks.
The only really annoying thing is that they are reluctant to answer questions. I myself failed to check properly the safe in the room when leaving and forgot an item, not expensive but of great sentimental value. I sent two requests to the hotel asking about it but never got any answer. This is really annoying. I was not asking to execute criminals, merely trying to find out if it would be possible to find the lost necklace. Still waiting for an answer after two months.

Pros:
- Cheap
- Okay breakfast, restaurant and room service
- Free shuttle bus to Klong Plu waterfall
- Fitness room, although a bit outdated
- Lush greenery

Cons:
- The room cleanliness was quite poor
- Worn room
- The deck area by the pool is rather small
- The beach arrangement

There is a free shuttle bus to a sister hotel, which is much more luxurious and located by the beach. Ramayana guests have a small area here at disposal. Old sun loungers, no possibility of sun shading. The separation of the various guests is quite uncomfortable. I understand that the 5* guests have of course paid a lot more, but the arrangement is unpleasant and you do not feel welcome. Neither by the staff nor the guests.
