If you've been disappointed by a so-so dinner on La Calzada stop in here for an espresso and tres leche or other fresh baked treat to brighten up your evening. Nice, if a bit bright, atmosphere. Very touristy, but most people frequenting The Avenue are tourists, so....

Me and my friend stopped by Chocolate to have dessert and coffee after a great meal and we are very glad we did. The chocolate cake is delicious and so is the coffee. I wish they would've had the Tres Leches or the Moka because those were my first and second choice, but chocolate cake did not disappoint.

We stoped here on our walk through Granada and were very friendly served and seated.
The staff seems to not only be loving their job but also doing a great job.
We only had a Frappuchini and cold chocolate drink, but enjoyed the atmosphere. Pretty inner graden area with a fountain, but also nice seating area up front for just a coffee or such.

This little café is located in the front of the Hotel Darío on the main tourist street. They have a good lunch menu - we have never been disappointed. They offer a good selection of drinks, including Canada Dry flavors not available elsewhere.
But our main attraction is the Chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting and chocolate curls on top. It is not overly sweet, very rich, and served beautifully.
The location is great, offering a view of the street scene without the distraction of overly loud music that is common at most street-side bars here. If you wish even more quite, you can be served in the inner patio of the hotel, with views of their garden and fountain. Or you can sit under umbrellas at tables in the street with the same great service.

I like to go here for cup of good coffee and the cake. The service is good and you can see the whole of the world pass by on the street outside.
