Stayed here two nights. Good location for town. Used as base for exploring. Easy to go back several times during day for rest/out of sun.
Great hammocks and chill out area. Wifi very good and reliable. Easy to FaceTime/Skype.
Rooms very hot at night. We were in private room without air conditioning but used fan throughout night.
Walls very thin in private rooms. Pretty young hostel with loud neighbours. Supposed to have quiet time after 11pm but not policed well by staff. People making noise until past 2am.
I found staff very friendly and smiley.
Pancakes were great everyday although would be great to have a bit more variety.

Hostel oasis is 2 blocks from the main square so handy location. Facilities are perfect For getting back in touch with civilisation ie free international calls, 10 computers, really strong internet and skype headsets. Great value as you have free purified water. Breakfast included and pretty good kitchen facilities. . Feedback to the hostel, if you could leave sweeping, mopping of the floors and raking till after 8 as most guests are still sleeping.

Room Tip: Rooms are basic but clean. Walls are paper thin with 1 m mosquito net at the roof, so no real privac...

I had a very pleasant 2 night stay in Hostel Oasis. The rooms are basic but clean, the pool is really nice, staff is friendly, and breakfast is good if you like pancakes. Didn't like the tours they booked for us though. Front desk staff isn't super chatty and smiley but they are helpful.
I would stay again.

Hostal Oasis was a pretty cool looking place inside. It was conveniently located downtown near lots of local attractions. When we checked in, there was only 2 beds available, so it definitely gets filled up. The dorm we stayed in was pretty large with 4 bunks. We didn't love that we shared a room with someone who'd been staying there for 6 months, so he acted like he owned the place. There is a TV in the common area, and someone was always watching a movie or show loudly. This wasn't quite relaxing to me. The staff was friendly and it was a nice enough place. The pool was much smaller than pictures lead you to believe and did not look very inviting in person.

A nice place to rest your head, great central communal area. The private rooms at the front can be a problem as they don't have a ceiling, for ventilation, this allows noise from other private room to echo back into other rooms in this same area especially inconsiderate people at 2 am who invite others to their room for a chat. Thank goodness for the night manager who was quick to sort it out when the issue was raised. Handy to most things but it's is the old tourist section but it only a couple of blocks to the new section. Loved the breakfast pancakes included in the accommodation price!

Excellent locarion, safe and aecure. Had private room sans air con. Simple room but adequate. Only one power point but loads in open courtyard. Courtyard great for chilling out. Only negative wouls have to be the reception staff- not exactly friendly or welcoming. Still, vwry good hostel with free agua, tea & coffee all day plus excellent pancakes and fruit breakfast

At this point of our trip, we're kind of hostel experts and can easily recommend Hostel Oasis. Everything from the kindness of the staff to the amenities is just perfect. There is space for mingling or chilling, a pool (a definite necessity in Granada,) computers, free pancake breakfast, decent rooms, free refills on drinking water, kitchen, fridge and hammocks. It has everything you need including AC if you want to pay extra. We have a private room with a fan and you can't beat that for $20USD!

Room Tip: Front rooms were not as noisy as expected
