My wife and I, along with our 2 young children had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at Casa Antigua. We had come in for a wedding in town, and some relaxation time from the city. This Bed and Breakfast was very accessible in price for us, extremely child friendly, with some toys for our children to play with and very responsive to our needs during our stay.

The owners of Casa Antigua were very much involved in every aspect of the bed and breakfast, something that is often not the case in others we have visited. The owners really care about their guests experience at their hotel.

During our stay, Casa Antigua arranged for us a very personal tour of a near by Volcanic crater lagoon and a day of swimming with our children. In the evening they gave us some very valuable information on some of the fine dining in town, assisted us in finding which of these were opened on this Sunday evening, and escorted us to the restaurant. A bit later that evening, after the children had gone to sleep, the new Cafe at Casa Antigua served us some gourmet coffee from the hills of Nicaragua, a coffee that has no brand name, and was roasted on a farm rather than in a factory. We also had some delicious baked goods. The cafe is quiet enough to read a book, or have a romantic date.

The location of the Hotel is in a historical part of Granada, not far from all the action in town, but far enough so that there is no blaring music from bars, and little traffic in the street. It is also located just a few doors down from the Casa Natal de Sor Maria Romero. What I really enjoyed about this bed and breakfast was that it is located in a residential area of town, not cluttered with other hotels, and tourists allowing for the guests (us) to experience the real life of those that live in this fine colonial town.

The hotel was clean, our breakfast were filling and were varied each day, and the staff was exceptional. My family and I highly recomend this hotel.

Room Tip: es mejor elegir habitaciones que no colinden con la calle, pues hay mucho ruido de noche
