We ate here repeatedly, after having a great first experience. Rather than sitting on the street, we preferred to eat inside near the bar and fans, just far enough from the noise/vendors outside. They had specials on drinks, and everything we ordered to eat (typical Mexican options) was tasty and reasonably priced. Some stand-out dishes include the mole enchiladas, and a variety plate...tons of food, only ~$8. The first night we were there, the owner's daughter bought her a large, orange hat...very stylish (and a source of laughter for the cooks and waiters). She was a good-humored about it all, although you could tell she runs a tight ship. She was very friendly, and greeted us like family whenever we would see her around town. Would definitely go back to eat here again.

We ate here our last night in Granada. The waiter was wonderful and attentive. We did sit outside and had a few interruptions (children looking for handouts, performers), but it wasn't a huge nuisance; to us it was part of the city life. It was a festive atmosphere, sitting on the street level. The food was good...not spectacular, but very tasty. We both had tacos-the dishes contained a decent portion of food for the cost. We did not go inside at all, so I can't comment on the inside. Overall, we were happy with our experience here.

If only the food and drinks matched the fun street dining experience and friendly service. The first indication we may be disappointed were the drinks which were very weak and not tasty at all. There were six in our party and everyone was disappointed. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful but the food was mediocre at best. It may be that we were there on a bad night or perhaps that we do not know what "authentic" Mexican food is. Regardless, our meals were not what we expected. Fish was overcooked and meat dishes very dry and almost tasteless. Would not recommend with all the other restaurant options available. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive and along with the atmosphere are the primary reasons this restaurant did not receive a lower rating.

This has become a favorite stop for us in the 2 weeks we've been in Granada. We've not been disappointed with any of the dishes we've had and we have pretty much covered off the menu, both Mexican and Nicaraguan. Winston and the other staff are great. You will get lots of street traffic stopping by, a great spot for people watching, much fun! Try the macaus!

If eating outside a real feel for Granada activity. Inside, an old classic Spanish house ( probably several hundred years old ) Mexican food was very good with a hint of Nicaraguan taste. Service good, night eating outside music bands, street entertainment lots of activity.. If a quiet meal is wanted an inside seating with a garden is available. Over-all Good food & entertaining place to eat
