My wife and I travel the world while running our business. We spent 3 weeks at Casa Cubana and felt like we found the perfect colonial style B&B. The 4 rooms allow for a lot of privacy, Uli, the B&B owner is very hospitable and ensured that we found the best restaurants and activities in Granada. A dip in the pool is to die for, especially after sightseeing all day in the sun. We would recommend to stay in the Saffron Suite, which overlooks the rooftops and the pool. If you want to find out what you can create out of a colonial home, this is a perfect example. The lush plants surrounding the pool make you feel like you've found your private oasis to relax. If that is not not enough, the breakfast that is freshly cooked in the morning is of high quality and very filling. Overall, this is what a colonial B&B should be.

Room Tip: Request the Saffron Suite! Great pool view, wake up with the sun, quieter than all other rooms.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights at Casa Cubana and had an absolutely lovely experience. The owner was away at the time, but Esther was looking after the place and she was helpful, friendly, and a genuine and good soul. The breakfasts were cooked when we were ready for them, and they were plentiful and delicious, complete with fruit/yogurt and eggs with gallo pinto. A nice respite from the main square, but only a short walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would go back if I find myself back in the city. Thanks!!!

Uli is the most accommodating hotel owner out there. He is kind, quiet, gracious, and always interested in ways to make your stay better. His hotel is spotless, beautiful, and yet also has a wonderful family vibe about it. It's very hard to feel professional and high-end without feeling stuffy, and Uli pulls this off seamlessly. At the end of your stay, you will feel a bit like you are leaving your home. The rooms are large, airy, beautifully decorated, and the bathrooms will make you feel like a princess (or prince). Great place to stay, great owner, great experience.

What can I say about Casa Cubana that has not already been said? It is just as wonderful, beautiful, tranquil, and amazing as all these other reviews say. The rooms are breathtaking and luxurious, you never want to leave. The state of the art kitchen has everything you need to make a great meal for yourself if you want to stay in and cook. If not, there are many restaurants just a short walk away. I felt spoiled being there! Uli makes you feel so at home and seems to always be there to help you with anything and everything you may need. He's very accommodating and welcoming and made my amazing stay even better!

My wife and I stayed in the upstairs room which was wonderful. The room is huge with two french doors overlooking the courtyard and small pool below. The bathroom was very nice for Nicaraguan standards with a very large shower. The owner, Uli, was a great host and never bothered you but was always there to answer questions. Uli also made arrangements for a day trip Masaya market and the volcano for us and another couple. Our room is excellent choice for peace and quiet which can be hard to find in Granada. The casa is about a 5-10 minute walk to the park central and the main restaurants.
A local Nica woman came and prepared a delicious breakfast for all the guests every morning. I highly recommend Casa Cubana if you want a beautifully appointed room for a decent price.
