After having an accident while on my travels I needed somewhere comfortable and relaxing to recuperate and this was the place. It was so peaceful and such a beautiful
setting. The room was huge, bed was
comfortable and a hot shower was a bonus. The bathroom had a quirky deck chair in the shower area which added to the character. As for the staff, I couldn't have asked for a better service, always willing to help and incredibly friendly. Thank you so much casa consulado!

We stayed at this hotel with moderately-high expectations (after reading a few reviews) and were pleasantly surprised at the wonderful stay. It's a beautiful colonial style, great pool, movie room, fresh & delicious breakfast & very spacious bathrooms. Our room opened to the pool on the lower level. The room safe worked well, the bed was comfortable, the linens clean & towels in order. We checked into hotel late evening and were met by a pleasant gentleman who assisted us with checking in and explaining where we could park our car during our stay (a few blocks away in a secure & attended indoor parking garage, the security was a nice). Cable TV, Wifi, A/C all worked well. The service was great & enjoyable. The staff was helpful with recommendations, finding our way around & easy to talk with. We would definitely recommend staying & enjoyed the hotel so much we stayed an extra night!

Room Tip: The top floor rooms above the pool have a beautiful view of the main church & central plaza. Th...

I recently went to Granada with a group of friends, we found this Hotel just one block away from the park which was just perfect. The gardens, the pool, and the rooms with the views were simply amazing. Everyone was friendly and really helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed there for 2 nights and everything was just perfect, totally worth every penny.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor have breathtaking views and private gardens.

This must be one of the most beautiful hotels in Central America We found the colourful colonial style architecture inspiring. Homely with only 8 rooms (I think) and the rooms were big, ours had two large beds. The finishing touch was the private garden, a lovely relaxing sun trap. Rooms having names instead of numbers was also a nice touch

This hotel is gorgeous. The service is on par with the rest of central and south america. It's not very attentive, but good. The servers for breakfast spoke good english, for those that don't speak spanish.

Room Tip: The suite is MUCH nicer :)

On entering the front door to this hotel, we were blown away with the building. It looks like an old house. It is exceptionally beautiful. The rooms are all unique, and very large. However best not scratch the surface...

...in our room, we found the bathroom door handle broken, and although we reported it, it was not fixed for the duration of our stay.
...another party travelling with us had an issue with her aircon...it wasn't working, and in 37 degC heat, that is not something you want. She requested another room, she was told that it would be fixed instead. However an hour after reporting it, nothing had been done. In fairness, it was fixed by the time we came back dinner, but it meant that she was unable to get cool and clean prior to dinner.
...we asked whether there was a bar service for sitting round the pool, and were told there wasn't such a thing in the hotel, even for water; but we could go out into the town to purchase drinks. Not that this is a big thing, but when you have changed into your costume, and are settled by the pool, you really don't want t have to redress to go wandering about the town.

However knowing all these - it is still a beautiful place to stay - especially if you only see your hotel room as a place to lay your head at night.

Room Tip: Rooms by the pool seem to be larger
