Definitely stay here! You will be living with Bosco and his family, and get to enjoy a truly authentic experience of Granada, especially if you also opt for Carla's home-cooked meals. You get lots of privacy despite the shared facilities, and the couple was also accommodating to our changing dates of arrival. The common computer was free to use and was convenient. Bosco and Carla went out of their way to make sure we had fun on this trip, arranging for us an unparalleled and unique kayaking trip around Las Isletas. The Masaya Volcano tour, led by Bosco himself, was definitely worth it. We had a rare opportunity to trek through a bat cave, and a lesser-known "witch cave", which was unbelievable fun, and were pleasantly treated to a nice surprise at the end of the day at the Apoyo Lagoon.
The house is slightly far from the city's center, but I enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and discovering some local businesses. But take a taxi at night for safety. Also, be sure to have a written address/map with you as the house is located on an inroad and is not clearly marked on Google map. Also don't forget to take a picture with the family and be a part of their up-and-coming wall of memories.
