“get the avocado chips!!!”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

recommended to us by our hostel owner, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The food was well priced, and more importantly very tasty. The avocado chips are one of the tastiest foods I had whilst in C. America

“Delicious middle eastern food”

Loved the avocado fries and the falafel sandwich. We ended up spending a lot more than we meant to because everything was so good!

“Great Variety with a Mediterranean Flair”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Whether you like your meal spicy or not, the menu at El Camello covers all of your bases. A lot of restaurants that specialize in Moroccan, Mediterranean type food, only offer really spicy dishes. At El Camello you can select your level of heat ... and it's all delicious. And the food at El Camello is only part of the fun. The owner is usually on site to chat and share stories about the local area .. making this a true dining experience.

“EXCELLENT SERVICE, AND A FABULOUS MENU.....THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!”
Reviewed 15 May 2014

Although it is not on what I like to call, "Restaurant Row" here in Granada, this restaurant is one of the absolute BEST in all of Granada!

Like walking into someone's home, and having a real, delicious, meal, with friends, is exactly what it is like when you dine here! Leroy, the owner, knows his way around a kitchen, and then some....so most of what is on the menu, came directly from him, and his own recipes.

Always priced fairly, and they have numerous 'daily' specials on both food, and drinks, so you won't "break the bank" by any means, as with so many other venues on "the strip". Two of my favorites are the spicy peanut chicken skewers, accompanied with a bed of rice, or the curry chicken and vegetable plate, with small side salad and choice of potato or rice. My boyfriend had the ribs, which were on special, and instantly was in love, wanting to return every night until we leave, to devour them!

Leroy treats each and every single one of his guests as if you were long, fast friends, and thus you will always feel instantly, right at home, whether it's your first time eating here, or your 100th!

Truly, if you have yet to experience this amazing restaurant, you have no idea what you are missing out on! RUN, don't walk, to El Camello, and you too, will see why I wrote such a raving review!

A bien tot mes amis!
