“Delicious food. Excellent Value.”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

Three of us ate dinner here in April 2014. We shared a ceviche to start - delicious. We each enjoyed our very generous main entrees. Two of us had seafood, while the other chicken. Everything was prepared perfectly, and exactly as described in the helpful english language menu.

Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our meal was good value, and we would all go back for another meal if we find ourselves again in Granada.

“wierd presentation”
Reviewed 10 April 2014 via mobile

Not impressed with this place at all. Quality of seafood was average, nothing to write home about. The plate presentation of my seafood platter was weird. All the vegetables were arranged around the edges in a single row and it was served with a super sweet sauce that didn't pair well with the shrimp. Weird is the best I can do to explain.

This was our second time visiting El Marlin and we were not disappointed! I believe they have the freshest seafood in Granada along with the friendly staff that serve you!

“The Charm of a Small Greek Tavern with the Coldest Beers!”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

With its simple blue and white décor, El Marlin has the ambiance of a small Greek tavern and the wonderful seafood dishes to complete the impression. The restaurant is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a block away from Iglesia de Xalteva, and two blocks away from Iglesia de la Merced, making it convenient for lunch or dinner.

The restaurant has a small menu that features a variety of fresh fish and some beef entrees. All the dishes are nicely prepared to order and to our surprise, plated very creatively. The creative presentation elevates the meal into a fine dining experience. Plus they have the coldest beers and frosted mugs in Granada. The reasonable prices, excellent service, and delicious food combine to make dinner a very good value.

If you have the time, check out a very nice wall mural along the pedestrian alley just off far end of Plaza Xalteva, right behind the restaurant.
