On a Sunday evening, a meal that was dreadful. I didn't even try to eat the chicken, as my stomach was heaving from bad chicken I'd eaten on a bus the day before. I was stunned when the price turned out to be C$100. The next day, by daylight, I saw by the menu that my meal should have cost C$50. The two waitresses were shocked and wanted to know who had charged me C$100. Then I spoke with El Gordito himself, who told me, somewhat hostile, that the C$50 was for fajitas and I would have paid the same C$100 anywhere else. I said I'd "denunciar" him on Internet. He said "Bien" and walked off.
But at my hospedaje, the cat wouldn't eat the chicken I'd saved for him.
