“Nice place for a short trip”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

very cosy, a lot of restaurants of high quality, also some interesting out side activities, only remark not really for people with walking handicap. A pitty that visiting castle isn't possible without an appointment.

“Stunning walk around smallest city in the world”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

Durbuy is about 1hr 40 from Brussels
What an amazing quaint city Durbuy is. Park the car outside the city (about 5 mins walk into centre) Walked along the river watching the Kayakers. Its 12 Euro per person to Kayake and they pick you up with a bus when you finished down the river. You are welcome to also take dogs on the kayake trip. River is very shallow and slow flowing. Safe for young children.
Ate a fabulous lunch at restaurant 1331. Fresh trout with stingy nettle butter.

Its a typical medeival town with lots of history and lots to see. Such as the tiny church, Chateau, gardens, quaint shops and a few bars.

City has been kept immacualte. Wear flat shoes as all the streets are cobbled.

Took a drive up to the tower to see the whole area.

They make local beer and have local jams, and ham to try.

People are very friendly.

Durbuy is a very charming city with lots of old houses and cobbled streets. It has a very nice city center with many (maybe too many) restaurants.

“quaint”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

The old town is small ( 10 - 12 streets) and very walkable. The town is very pretty with lovely flowers and cafes. It's a great place for an afternoon stroll and a coffee or Belgian/Liege Waffle.

There is a antique outdoor market on Sunday morning that adds a lot of life to the main square.

If you stay the night, you will experience a very quiet town as many people are only visiting for the day.
