The other reviews have covered it very well. Keep in mind that they close for lunch so you won`t be surprised or disappointed if you arrive at that time.

Well worth a visit, and very informative about the mulberry harbour operation from start to finish. nice exhibits and taking your time.

I went there when the museum first opened in the morning, and was glad due to the number of school groups.

Arrived here in the late afternoon. Not many empty parking spaces outside the museum even though it is paid parking. It was quite crowded and there is a lot to see. The cost is €8.50 for adults with the pass. There is a film show in English on a regular basis. There are some great models of the building of the Mulberry harbour and you need to give yourself at least 2 hrs to see it all properly.

This is a fantastic way to understand what a massive achievement the Mulberry harbour was, and its importance to the Allied invasion on D-Day. There is a vast number of museums and attractions along this historic coast, and this is the best for investigating the role of the town and the harbour.

The attention to detail in this museum is a clear tribute to the fallen. There is a mini scene of how the mulberry harbours helped shaped the end of the war, in glass cases there are specs and details of pressure testing that had been done before the harbours were towed out to France.
I had vaguely remembered something in my school history about a bridge of some sort, but you have to be impressed by the skill that made these possible. Excellent video presentations. The other displays of the war on the beaches are also very good, and the gift shop is one of the best Ive seen
