The museum has lots of material and atefacts recovered from those days and it shows the engineered structures that were created to help the allies. Amazing!

This museum isn't very large, but does contain some interesting informtion. The models of the harbour outside being the best part, although the film shown at the back of the museum fills in a lot of blanks about how it all happened.

This small museum has wonderful models which illustrate the enormity of the undertaking to establish an artifical harbour. No other museum or book tells the story as well and it is in a perfect setting on the beach. Don't bother with the video diorama show though - it's not very informative and corny compared to the 360 show up the hill

Sadly, we were not impressed with this place. Yes, the location is great and they had some interesting artefacts but we didn't think they were well presented and didn't add much to what we already knew. We were much more impressed with the cinema on the hill and spending time on the beach, looking at the remains itself

The museum itself is rather small, but it has some great maquettes on display that tell the story of Mulberry Harbour. Overlooking the actual site of teh harbour and seeing the remains 'floating' in the water, you get a very good feeling for the gigantic masterpiece of engineering and the logistics that have been delivered here. It also puts the efforts for conquering all the (in-)famous beaches around the city into perspective.
