It seemed that we were to be the only diners when we arrived at 1945 hrs but two more couples did arrive some time after us. Veronique explained that sometimes they were very busy and sometimes not, it was clearly not a problem if we were to be their only customers. The location is very pleasant and the dining room well appointed. I had the €47 menu and it was lovely, my companion had the €34 menu and was clearly happy with that too. Apart from the little toasts and terrine with our aperitifs there was another unexpected extra of celery remoulade with crab. The service was friendly and efficient. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a thoroughly good meal in pleasant surroundings with good service. A faultless dining experience.

Walked from the town centre to find this recommend restaurant (about a mile). On arrival we were greeted with a warm friendly welcome. The host quickly realised we spoke very little French & explained everything to us in perfect English. The food & wine were exceptional. My wife explained to our waiter that she had a nut allergy & he arranged with the chef to make a nut free version of her desired dessert. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a special meal out. If you drive, don't park in town unless you like a walk. The restaurant has its own car park :)

Visited the restaurant with my husband and in-laws for Lunch. We didn't book, but managed to get a table. Lovely freshly made bread rolls and the curried chicken "kebab" was very tasty. The menu of the day was very good value. Service was prompt and the waiting staff spoke fluent English. Well worth a visit.

Fabulous food extremely well presented. Our family live 10 mins from this restaurant and we said we wanted to take them somewhere nice for a evening meal as a treat. What a treat it was I couldn't fault a thing. I was a bit upset that there was only one champagne to choose from, however after one bottle it was that nice we had another. It was quiet in the restaurant the night we went but it was the day after Easter Monday. The gentleman owner spoke excellent English and was able to explain the menu to us. We had the set €33 menu which was more than adequate and the children had the €23 menu because they preferred what was on that. We will look forward to going again next time we are over.

This is my go-to restaurant when I want to go out with clients. The menu du jour is always very high quality and excellent value at €15 for 3 courses. They seem happy to alter their offerings for vegetarians, or if you just don't like the thought of one of their dishes. The service is always excellent, prompt and attentive but not intrusive. The host will also address you in English if you wish.

Although the main dining area is fairly small, it doesn't feel cramped. They have separate rooms for larger groups too.
