“Great accomodation in a stunning setting.”
Reviewed 9 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Prades is a quiet, picturesque village within a fairly easy walk from the property. There's a very good market in the village every Tuesday and a large supermarket (Super U) which stocks absolutely everything close by. Trains and buses within the region cost €1 which will get you as far as Perpignon. The house itself is beautiful with a good sized pool and plenty of sun loungers. There was only four of us so we had plenty of room as there are five bedrooms and it sleeps ten. The only criticism I would have is that there's only two toilets! Otherwise it's pretty perfect.

“Well equipped spacious Farm House in a good location”
Reviewed 2 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The house has everything you require with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of seating outside for eating and lounging. The immediate location is excellent just outside Prades but only a couple on minutes from the supermarket - you could walk. It is in the countryside surrounded by fields and with a good view including the Canigo. The location has many things to do as either a half or whole day trip with both the mountains and the coast within an hour or sos drive

“Very relaxing and peaceful”
Reviewed 20 June 2016 for a stay in July 2014

We stayed here with a group of 10, including two children and had a fabulous holiday. The house itself is a beautiful French chateau with a lovely large pool based in the countryside. It's very clean and in a beautiful setting. You will need a car as there is nothing within walking distance, but there are local villages and an activity centre close by.

Thank you for the review, I would argue that there are plenty of things within walking distance (400m) large supermarket with boulangerie, hair dresser, shoe shop, newsagent etc. Also on the same site, toy shop, diy store, clothes shops, optician, sports shop. walk another 400m and you are in the town centre with dozens of shops, bars, restaurants, cinema, church, market etc. From the town you can catch a train or a bus to explore the region, all fares are only 1€
