“Sleep Well”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 via mobile

The hotel was relatively easy to find in the dark once we'd left the Eurotunnel terminal.

Staff were friendly and check-in fast and efficient.

Our comfortable room was located on the ground floor. The decor was modern with clean lines. Bedding of good quality and I had a great night' sleep.

The bathroom was clean, shower water nice and hot within seconds.

We didn't stop for breakfast in the morning due to a ten hour drive ahead of us.

I'd stay here again.

This is the best budget hotel in the area. Clean and new, with good size rooms, and tea making facilities which in France is a bonus, along with UK TV
Taking the Dinner Bed and Breakfast deal is good value. €89 for the night.
The draw back is it for one person, and the evening menu is VERY limited. Three starter, two mains and three sweets, with no provision for vegetarians or a children's menu. (If there is one, it was not on display)
Service for dinner was not the quickest.. One man running the hotel; reception and waiter.
As it is new, hopefully these are teething problems, and as the summer season progresses, they will have to step up their game.
Out in the country, and tricky to find.
Would I stay again. Yes

We stayed here 1 night before we travelled home. The staff were welcoming and friendly . The hotel is modern and very clean. The room was big , clean and comfortable. The man on reception was very helpful and showed some places to visit whilst we were there. The breakfast was nice and there was a good choice.
If you stay here I would recommend you go the short distance to Sangatte. It's a lovely place on the beach front.

Our first stay at this new hotel was very good. large clean rooms, large clean bathroom and a large bed. There was also a decent amount of slelving for clothes etc. The man on the reception was friendly snd helpful.
The is a small bar behind the reception which was also where breakfast is served. Our wi fi was free and it was fast. The hotel faces fields in one direction and a hospital in the other. Its also near to Cite Europe. Ample parking and a smokers area are available at the front of the hotel.
We will be staying again.

Booked this hotel because of its convenient location right beside the tunnel terminal.
The girl on reception was welcoming and handled our booking speedily .
The hotel was immaculate. Our room comfortable and very clean with all the features expected in a good hotel.
We had a good reasonably priced dinner in the restaurant, and an excellent breakfast the following morning. Receptionist doubles up as bar maid and waitress a real hard working gem.
Would recommend without hesitation.

Room Tip: The location is quiet, but the even numbered rooms are on the side of the hotel away from the car pa...

We stayed here by pure chance as we were rebooked here from another hotel, but it was absolutely brilliant. We found the hotel tricky to find at 2am without any previous warning to look for maps, as it is a little way from the main road, with not much signage, (but this could be beacuse it is relatively new). The gentleman on reception could not have been more helpful, he checked us in, told us about about breakfast and asked if we needed anything. We had 2 interconnecting standard rooms, they were clean and modern/contemporary. with television, tea and coffee, and despite the previous reviews I have read the bed was comfy and we all slept well. The hotel had a large car park and we could see the Eurotunnel in the distance, as well as being a stones throw from the Cite de l'europe. We didn't have breakfast as we had brought our own, but checkout was again friendly. All in all a great hotel and we will definitely look to stay here again.

We needed a hotel just to sleep in Calais for 1 night, and found the Inter-Hotel L'Haut'Aile. This is a new hotel, located just behind the Clinic des Deux Caps, to help other users find it. Hotel was clean with very comfortable rooms, fully equipped with coffee making facilities. I would recommend this hotel instead of more expensive ones which are less comfortable. Do not go for beakfast though, as this is relatively expensive at 9 euros, I would recommend to just go and have breakfast at the numerous patisseries around town.
