Very limited menu as the couple tend to use ingredients that are available from the markets, but the food was delicious and very good value. It is just short walk from the hotel up a side street.

This was a highlight of our recent trip to Fécamp. Really excellent food, friendly service and no delays. Although choices are limited there is something for everyone and at this level of quality it is possible to try something you would no normally eat because you can be sure it will be beautifully prepared and presented. Reservation a must.

I read all the reviews before going to Vicomte last week. I was intrigued as to how the Michelin listing would equate with a menu at 18.50€ and was very pleasantly surprised. There is no room for error if a profit is to be made at this price. The mussels in cream with basil was a splendid first course and large enough for a good appetite. The main of guinea fowl in a cider sauce defied the mathematics of this price range, well cooked and prettily served. Cheese was three small slices and the deserts were plain and simple as was expected. Overall the meal and the service far surpassed expectation. Nothing pretentious, nothing wasted. I look forward to returning.

Only a few yards from quai Berigny, but offering freshly cooked food far superior to the microwaved dishes offered in tourist restaurants overlooking the port. The exterior is unprepossessing, but inside it has the air of a traditional café/brasserie with check tablecloths and old posters on the walls. The proprietor - sporting an impressive moustach - is attentive and friendly and the service is professional. He offers a single menu with 4 courses for 18.50 euros, with only two choices of starter and main course which vary according to the market.
During our visit he was offering home made chicken paté or vegetable quiche as entrées, both of which were excellent. For main course there was a choice of roast lamb hock served with couscous or fish poached in burgundy served with boiled potatoes. The lamb was well cooked but I could have done with a bit more sauce with the couscous. The fish in red wine was unusual but worked really well and the pichet of burgundy that we had with the meal went well with both the fish and the lamb. The cheese was a good selection and all perfectly ripe. There was a choice of about 4 desserts.
Overall, I liked the ambience and think it offers good value.

Choices are limited to two items per day, all fresh from the markets. Everything is cooked to perfection, superb quality.

The restaurant is small, only a few tables, so reservations could be a smart thing.

You'll not be disappointed.
