Meal lived up to the reviews we had read on Trip Advisor! A real treat and delightful staff and quality food beautifully presented. Very good value set menu choices. Definitely somewhere to return to - needs support to ensure it survives! Tucked in back lanes by large church in centre of Fecamp, 15 mins from harbour. Worth the walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Daniel's. The food was delicious and served with some modern / contemporary twists (as an example, the citrus for my smoked salmon came both as a foam and in a small squeeze bottle, which you could put on directly or blend with a butter sauce and then apply). Classic Normandy cuisine (cod, pollock, etc) updated. Great value - a choice of a 3 course degustation or a 4 course (around 23 Euro and 32 Euro respectively) or a la carte. Would go back.

Very good surprise! It's a "gourmand" restaurant.
Food a little bit spicy, but I like this way.
Ate a fish dish as stater and a breast chicken as main course.

Fecamp has it's fair share of mediocre restaurants with a couple of good ones sprinkled around . Well this is definitely one of the good ones. Situated up an uninviting alley this place has a friendly welcoming ambience and good service. I think the 22 euros menu such good value for the quality and the presentation of the food. Great local touches on the menu (Benedictine Creme Brûlée and Smoked salmon trout from Valmont). All in all a fantastic local restaurant worth supporting.

We visited Le Daniel's twice on our recent visit to Fecamp, and we were not disappointed.
The choice is not wide, which allows the options to be chosen with the knowledge that attention has been given to its preparation.
It's location is off the main shopping street, into a small lane, which visitors could easy miss, but on the occasions that we visited, a Tuesday & Thursday, we were the only visitors, everyone else were local.
The restaurant is warm & comfortable, good atmosphere, and the staff first class, explaining in detail, the ingredients used in the meal.
It would feature in our top 10, and would certainly return, if visiting Fecamp again
