We were greeted with a sign on the locked entrance saying they'd reopen at 3pm, to be greeted warmly and shown to a lovely large-sized room that was much too cold for our liking. The radiator and additional heater full blast hardly changed the climate and we will look at other options on our next visit.

We paid extra for a Comfort Room and was very disappointed with its actual comfort the room floor sloped therefore the bed was not level. The linen and bathroom toiletries were very nice and on the whole it was clean and well appointed. We did think that €10 extra to use the hotel car park was extreme. The continental breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of choice.
Although the name implies English type accommodation it is a typical French hotel also there is no lift and the staircase is spiral and quite narrow. If you do book this hotel note our room was 10 one I think to be avoided although it did have a sea view but no balcony.

Ideal location across the road from the sea , rooms clean and spacious but basic, bed comfy. French TV, hit and miss wifi. Very friendly, helpful daytime staff. Breakfast continental but fab choice.Thought the english pub would be more english and it really isnt when the barman or woman cant speak english. (not a problem I know I'm in france but I was fooled by the name lol)
We was on the third floor and going up the spiral staircase with suitcases is a little hard, so be warned if you aren't physically able to do lots of stairs.

Room tip: The front of the hotel has sea views and little balconies which I would have chosen given the choice

We were very happy with the hotel which is great value for money. We had the family room which was perfect. In good condition with a view on the sea. Breakfast was excellent. Warm welcome from helpful staff. Happy to return.

Easy walk to the port and most of the town.

Though very French which I usually like, other points mark this down. Spoke only French, stairs were cantilevered and almost spiral with no handrail on one side in places, all of which made carrying cases very difficult especially if of limited mobility.

I paid for car parking but it did not seem any more secure than public parking very close. Breakfast was very limited for choice.

This was the worst of three Inter-hotels we stayed at during this trip.
