Description: The oldest restaurant in La Flotte. Very welcoming, warm atmosphere. Good cuisine with emphasis on fish, at a reasonable price.

“A little gem”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

I was surprised not to see this restaurant on Trip Adviser.
The food is excellent and good value for money. It's also a great position for an evening meal, you get the evening sun and can experience the great atmosphere of the port of La Flotte.
The service is also very good and friendly, our waitress went out of her way to translate the menu for us.

“Very nice lunch”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

We had intended just to have a sandwich, but driving along the harbour road we were impressed with the views and the wall to wall restaurants and decided to eat out. As we both love fish and seafood we were spoilt for choice in La Flotte - based on the menu we chose Le Nautic and ordered from the 15 euro 2 course menu. The mussels and the fish were very good, as was the service - quick by French standards. Only when we were finished did I look on trip advisor and was surprised by the mixed reports - based on our 1 meal, I can definitely recommend....

“Quite good value”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

We had a pleasant lunch here. Beautiful setting on the port with a great view of the tide coming in. The moules were good - not the best I have had, but certainly not the worst! The steak was fine - again, nothing special, but quite satisfactory. We thought it was reasonable value for money. There was no deviation from the stated menu for my 6 Y.O. lunch. He wanted a slight change from the menu enfant which was unable to be granted - we ordered him a normal sized meal instead.

“Nothing special, except the location”
Reviewed 22 June 2014

Lovely location overlooking the harbour at La Flotte. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was average, nothing more, didn't leave us thinking 'wow' and didn't particularly disappoint either. It was just average. I would eat here again, possibly better at lunch if you just want a simple meal (we ate here for dinner). Cost round 42 euros for two courses and wine, per person. Certainly no bargain, but this is La Flotte!

“Avoid this one and choose somewhere else in La Flotte.”
Reviewed 22 May 2014

We walked along the coastal path from St. Martin to La Flotte. It took a pleasant hour to do this so we were both tired and looking forward to our lunch in La Flotte. After looking at all of the restaurant blackboards we opted for Le Nautic. What a mistake. We chose the special lunch menu of main course and dessert as did practically everyone else in the restaurant. Service was very slow which in a way suited us as we were tired after our long walk. But then it got annoying. When our meals were finally delivered I can say that the so called "steak" that we were given was the most horrible and toughest piece of meat that had ever been presented to me in my life. Everyone around us was given a little basket of bread with our meal and also a pepper sauce or similar in a little bowl. Both of these were left off our meal. It took an age to eventually get these two items brought to our table.
When we were leaving we asked for a bill only to find that we had not been charged the special lunchtime price but had been individually charged for each item. This added €10 to our bill. Strange how the French customers eating beside us had been charged the special menu price but the overseas tourists were charged a higher price. When caught our server simply said "my mistake". Well when you have just served 30 or 40 covers of the same meal before ours you should not be making this mistake. Choose somewhere else.
