Myself and my husband dined here, it was ok, but we don't think it justified the high prices. We had the prawn cocktail and crispy fish for starters, the prawns were big and the sauce was nice, although I would have enjoyed it more had it come with some salad instead of the seaweed(?!). My husband enjoyed the crispy fish in sweet and sour sauce. I ordered the duck for main, and i did ask for it to be well cooked, but it came out cremated. It could have done with a sauce and the chips weren't up to much. My husbands steak was cooked more on the well done side to the medium rare which he asked for. He was not given a choice of sauces when ordering, and when he asked if he could get the bernaise sauce which he had seen in the description once the meals had arrived, he was told that he had been given the shallot sauce. We asked if it was possible to get some bernaise sauce, and after some hesitation we were told they would bring some out. However, this took about ten minutes by which point we had almost finished our meal. The sauce was tasty though! We decided not to bother with desert. The location is ok, but I would prefer to eat at Mornac Sur Seudre, which has a good selection of restaurants as well as being a nicer location.

We have eaten here twice to round of our holidays in Oleron. Great location, lovely staff, fun for the kids, amazing seafood and gorgeous puddings. Sit outside and watch the sunset as the boats come in. Just great.

My wife doesn't eat fish! So why take her here? She does eat squid and mussels but that's it. Had mussels night before and for lunch. Do you have squid well no but we do have octopus. Save two for us we will be back. We went back as the appointed hour they had kept our octopus we had a few moments of fame,le patron had a wide grin clearly only mad Brits would go into a restaurant at 6 pm and order their main course for 8 30 pm. wife thrilled . Very decent wine list and not pricey. The real deal and fresh fresh fish. Completed our trip to Oleron very nicely thank you. Michael Paul

Highly recommended by friends, did not disappoint. Moules frites to die for!
Was busy as you'd expect on a Friday night but the service was a bit lax, otherwise a great experience.
