We just spent half term here with our two boys aged 8 and 10. It suited us all perfectly - I was 'chalet girl' for the week as I don't ski and found the facilities better than I ever could have wanted from a holiday rental - no slumming it here in the kitchen! We ended up eating in much more than we had originally planned because it was so easy for the skiers to return at lunch time and with so much to look at outside, we had a better view (and meal!) than those in the restaurants below. The Bistro de l'Oree, located next door was perfect for those dinners and one lunch we wanted to eat out; however, they are happy to do takeout as well.
There was more storage space than we could fill, the beds were comfortable and in general, the apartment was very spacious.
The bus stop with very frequent free bus service down to central Meribel was just over the road - perfect for daily jaunts to provision, and for those who are into apres ski - there's the Rond Point over the road. Not really being our scene, we thought it would be noisy and a nuisance, but it never bothered us at all, and in fact, provided some amusement instead, looking down at all these people enjoying themselves. I'm slightly reluctant to post this review as we are hoping to book again and don't want word to get out! But it really is a great spot and it made for the best ski holiday yet. Oh, and the perfect weather helped too!
