Great location and outdoor pool / spa area. Rooms are small. The bar and amenities were also great. The slopes where great and the weather was perfect as we had Sun every day after a big dump of snow.

I was a bit apprehensive about staying here, but for a weekend ski trip it was pretty much the only hotel that takes short bookings rather than whole weeks. It's also pretty expensive compared with hotels in other resorts. So as you can imagine I wasn't best disposed to the place when we arrived...

However, after a 3 night stay I warmed to the place. OK the rooms are a bit shabby and date from the mid 90s, but everything works, the place is clean, and we got upgraded to a slightly bigger room with 2 bunk beds as well as the main room. The bathroom is a little old fashioned, just a shower handset and no curtain. We never had problems with hot water.

For us the wifi worked well, although it is a very annoying system where you have to enter quite a tricky password every time you connect to the wifi (they really need to have something that registers the MAC address for a time period).

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good, top notch cheeses, sliced meats, proper sausages, nice pastries etc.

We also used the pool - it's small, but very well heated, and lovely to use after a hard days skiing.

The location is also excellent, a short walk to the main lift area, with a decent enough boot room (not much room in the lockers for boots, but plenty of benches to sit on, well lit).

So all in all, if I had to come back to Meribel for a weekend I would consider staying here again (just a shame about the price).

Had a fantastic few days here with a small group of friends. Firstly, there is no better location for skiers to stay in Meribel (and pretty much no better place to ski than the 3 valleys, so this is about as good as it gets!)
The hotel staff were lovely, having patience with my stumbling French and only flipping to English when I got really stuck, the room was a little small but the pool and spa facilities were fantastic!
Breakfast buffet was great, probably the best I've had in continental Europe, although generally that's not the highest bar.
Great stay all round, would very gladly go again.

We booked with Crystal to ski in the three valleys area. Flights and transfers were what we have come to expect. however the hotel was a huge disappointment. tiny rooms that were badly in need of a freshen up........whoever still has sponged walls? tiny bathroom you had to shut the door to move from the basin to the loo. cold hot tub, no lights in the grubby and tired sauna and steam room. pool area surrounded by bars and restaurants. Communal area/lounge had huge tv's always on, so no quiet bar area. Tacky furniture and old old carpets and fittings.
The staff were delightful and food was good, the restaurant was really the saving grace.

Room Tip: This is one of three joined hotels, perhaps other rooms are better. Have a strop!

Fantastically located within the pretty resort of Meribel - only 2 minutes walk to ski lifts, bars, restaurants and town centre. Small but perfectly sufficient rooms with good facilities and nice and clean although the hot water does run out quite early - those of us wanting to maximise ski time may have to miss out on a hot bath!

This hotel is a 3 star hotel, close to the Chaudanne area of Meribel. It's perfect for access to the ski-lifts. It has a small outdoor pool which is perfect for an après ski swim.

As a 3 star hotel, there are some compromises. The decor is a little tired and the rooms are small - but this is easily compensated by the location, the pool and the wonderful staff. Everyone in this hotel is charming and efficient, nothing is too much trouble for them.

Overall, great value ad very comfortable. We will certainly return

We stayed here for February half term. On arrival the reception staff were very helpful and although we were there too early for the room they prioritised the cleaning and we were in very quickly. The room was perfect for us, with bunks for our 2 kids - not massive but perfectly adequate. Last year in Austria the hotel arranged lift passes for us, when we asked at reception if they did this we were spoken to like we were idiots by another staff member - she seemed to be senior to the others, incredibly rude. (It seems that they don't offer this service!)

The food in the restaurant was great (we were half board) but it wasn't until day 3 that we were offered a menu for the kids, also there were other restaurants that we could use but again we weren't told this until day 3.

The pool was too cold!! Lots of complaints by lots of people but this did not improve.

A good holiday and I would return to the hotel but only for its fantastic location.
