“ancient artefacts you can touch”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This unassuming museum has some wonderful ancient artefacts and some statues you can actually touch. Imagine something made 3000 years ago! Hope it never stops this. If you are into ancient history...this has it all....statues, glass, pottery.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

It's not a huge museum, but nicely laid out and interesting! You can buy books and a few other things there too.

“Great location in the Kastro”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

Archaeological museum is located near the Catholic Mitropolis and is spread over 2 floors in this medieval building with the exhibits displayed without much information. It gives you though an insight into the life in Naxos thousands of years ago and as I was the only visitor in the early October morning, I really enjoyed it!!!!

“Naxos Archaeological museum”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

Interesting and much to see. Could perhaps do with some of the labels redoing as it was hard to read some of the information. Also, could do with a bit more English to better understand the exhibits. overall definitely worth a visit.

“interesting exhibits”
Reviewed 5 September 2013

Does not exist some conducted tour in the museum and the comments on the exhibits is frugal. They should pay more attention in the exhibits.
