After eating Greek food for 6 straight days we were ready for a change and this was the perfect spot. We had a delicious meal and we finished off with a complimentary glass of limoncello. The chef came out say hello and gave us a few mementos too!

L'Osteria is tucked away in Naxos old town. The atmosphere is very relaxing (cute outside courtyard). Starters and salads were part of a fixed menu but any other dish (selection of 6-8 dishes approximately) changed on a daily basis - this obviously allowed for complete and utter freshness in everything served. We had a tuna cous cous and vegetable lasagna. Both meals were delicious and were one of the best we ate during our trip in Greece!! The service was wonderful. We even had the chef, an Italian lady, come out of the kitchen to see if we enjoyed our meal!!!! We will definitely return next time we are in Naxos! Oh...and either come early (7.30pm) or make sure you call ahead to make a booking to be sure you don't miss out!

We just loved the service at L'Osteria. As I said the capresi salad was fantastic. I had my first sword fish, which was the best meal in Greece. My wife had lasagna, which would have feed three people here in the States. For those traveling to Greece for the first time, portions are huge. You normally get a gift of an after dinner liqueur or desert. L'Osteria took it one step further by giving my wife a key chain made from the cork from our bottle of wine. We arrived late for dinner and they ended up closing the door to new customers, but we never felt rushed.

One of our favorite meals we've had on this entire trip. We showed up without a reservation, and they were absolutely full! We requested anyyy table that they could put together as it was the only night we could possibly go here, and they put one together in 15 minutes.
It was such a cute place - like an outdoor garden with adorable furniture.
For a while we really thought we were in Italy. The food was absolutely delicious. All their pastas were made to perfect taste. They even gave us a little complimentary dessert at the end.
The family running made the atmosphere very homely. You could see the father and mother working the kitchen while the daughter was attending to the tables.
Loved it - everyone should go!
