“Central to this small Island”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

A simple but excellent accommodation along with a simple breakfast. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom big enough for one and the staff extremely helpful and understandably proud of the 9.4 rating by tripadviser guests. The staff suggested a numebr of restuarats for us to frequent and each was superb. Naxos is a quiet island and we booked a tour f the island and when we got to the tour office to take the tour was told it was cancelled as not enough attendees. Thus, took local bus and really lost a day. another day took a tour to Delos and Mykonos which was very worthwhile. Delos was a magnificient site and surprise. Again, the hotel;s locaiton made it easy to get around, even to the beach which wa sin easy walking distance.

I recently spent three nights at Xenia with my girlfriend. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The service was great, and the hotel was conveniently located in Naxos City. The rooms were built about three years ago and were clean and nice. Additionally we were pleased to find a complementary bottle of white wine with a few large waters when we arrived. All the top restaurants in Naxos city are two minutes away from the hotel as are Car/ATV/scooter rental places. There is free wifi throughout the hotel which was the best connection we have had so far in Greece (easy for Skype). All in all if you are looking to stay in Naxos city this should be at the top of your list!

Room Tip: We were in room 105 which was the only one where you can see the sunset clearly.

not with seafront but very close. not far from the port and the center. Very nice attitude and very good breakfast with fresh bread and food. The price reasonable. Nice big rooms with balcony. With all facilities needed.

Room Tip: ask for quiet room

Xenia Hotel is a real hotel. Clean, neat and perfect staff. The rooms are modern, with a nice finish all around. The view are maybe not the greatest but to sleep and live in they are great.

Xenia may not be hotel if you are looking in to a two weeks charter because it's a bit far away from the beach and is not really designed for that purpose.

It has always been difficult to find nice modern rooms in the centre of Naxos, near to the harbour. The newly presented Xenia hotel now fills that need wonderfully. Everything about the hotel is practically brand new, with lovely modern decor and furnishings throughout. Even the room keys are ultra modern card contact keys. We booked a suite, room 111. In fairness it was more like a quadruple room, but very spacious, a huge double bed and 2 balconies, dual aspect, with large patio type windows. The balconies were narrow, but it was possible to sit out on them with a glass of wine and enjoy the street seen below. Nice chairs were provided. At night when both the shutters and the modern double glazed windows were closed, there was no problem with noise despite a lively scene below. Beautifully conveniently situated just one block back from the harbour front and above an ice cream shop- perfect. Perhaps the room highlight was the lovely modern spacious en suite in our room with a large walk in shower. This was especially pleasing when it is the bathroom that lets so many other places down on the islands. It is just so convenient for all the restaurants, the ferries and the buses. There is no pool, but we would rather be in the centre of things. Any negatives?- well although the breakfast was good, in a lovely room, for some reason the small selection of hot food and eggs were never kept hot. Not a deal breaker when everything else was so nice. We were offered a substantial discount, including breakfast, by booking direct with the hotel and as regular visitors to Naxos we would stay here again without doubt. It was a lovely place and very good value

Room Tip: All rooms are modern and nice, room 111 is the suite with dual aspect balconies.

Stayed for 4 days over Easter. The location is great as everything is so close - however in the high summer season it might be noisy. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms modern with good showers. Balcony was very narrow so you couldn't sit out, but it overlooked the port and had a lovely view. The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was a normal continental buffet with local honey and jams. Overall very impressed with this hotel. A very special touch was on Saturday before Easter, room service left 2 candles, the traditional red eggs and sweet bread as part of the Greek Easter tradition. It was a lovely surprise and we really appreciated this.

Room Tip: Some rooms had bigger balconies.

Stayed for 8 days in April 2014, and had the suite with room for 4. My kids and I enjoyed our stay very much. The location in the centre of town was great for us, at least this time of year. Both Manolis and the rest of the staffwe met were very friendly and service minded. The breakfast was good, compared to greek standard. Some sliced vegetables or fruit would have been great.
