“Amazing stay on an amazing island!!”
Reviewed 16 July 2014 via mobile

Out stay at hotel Glaros was extremely enjoyable and relaxing! The hotel and rooms are very modern with a classy touch. The location was perfect minutes to Naxos town and steps from the warm, beautiful beach. We stayed in a junior suite on the second floor (rm #10) it was very spacious and had a small balcony that overlooked the beach... I would definetly recommend that room. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the friendly staff at Gloros, they made our stay all the more memorable! Most notably the man behind the front desk (manager) was very informative and friendly, and very passionate about Naxos. He recommended fantastic restaurants, and planned an amazing drive for us when we rented a car. This hotel really has it all, and at a very affordable price. We will return to this hotel when we visit Naxos again!!

I have nothing but rave reviews for this hotel. Situated on st George beach and a 5 minute walk from the city - it's the perfect location for sun and fun. 10 minutes to the bus station if you want to head to know of the other beaches on the island. Very convenient.

The rooms are lovely complete with balconies. Very modern and clean. In room coffee machine. AC. TV. Wireless. Laundry.

The owner Alex attends to very request and has lots of great recommendations for the island.

My next stay will be with Glaros for sure!!

wow. fell in love with this place- something about the feel/attention to detail/chocolate gift on departure....felt like home from home and will certainly book again if we return to Naxos. Absolutely perfect location, walking distance from town centre yet the peace of beautiful sea /beach views when you are sitting on your balcony.
Lovely!

Located an easy 10 minute walk from the picturesque old town and port, the hotel overlooks and is just steps from Agios Giorgios beach. As others have mentioned, it's not the most scenic of beaches - but it's still nice to be by the sea. It is situated among a lot of hotels, so the immediate area feels a bit sterile and resort-y. We stayed 4 nights in the master suite, which is very spacious but because the back room and bathroom only have one teeny-tiny window each, it was a little dark. Another issue is that the balcony is very small and is right up against the next balcony - a neighbor coming out on their balcony can look right into your room. Good amount of closet/storage space in this suite. We then switched for our last night into a superior room on the top floor, which in some ways we preferred even though it was a lot smaller. It seemed lighter, its view was superior, and the terrace (shared with two other rooms) was large and lovely, with a shaded lounge and tables with umbrellas. One drawback to this room is that guests and staff have to walk by the window to reach rooms 12 and 13, so it's not very private. Both rooms have a chic modern decor, with white floors and walls, accented with bright colors and furnished with (knockoff) Eames shell chairs. Very clean - and given how much sand gets tracked in, the housekeepers do a superhuman job of keeping everything tidy! Friendly desk staff arranged a taxi to meet our ferry at nearly midnight for 7 euros. Leaving, we found it easy to walk to the ferry port with our luggage.

My sister and I had a great stay at the Glaros last week. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The bed was super comfortable and they even had a pillow menu and lavender inserts to enhance rest. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted with a glass of wine and chocolates. It's steps away from the beach and an easy 5 minute walk to the main drag in Naxos Town. The staff was great and after staying all over Greece, including some far more expensive hotels, the Glaros was by far the best and least expensive. I would recommend a water view room on the top floor-the patio is amazing!

Hotel is very comfortable. Alex is great and helped us with laundry and a great rental car. He helped us identify a great route to drive and tour the island. We enjoyed walking around Naxos and ate really well!

We were blown away by Naxos - literally. Not sure if the first week of May is typically windy, but it was for us. This did not stifle our enjoyment of Naxos, which was such a pleasant clean and pretty site after the many run down and dirty towns of the mainland. Boutique Glaros Hotel proved to be an excellent choice. The room actually matched the prettiness of the photos very well - the hotel was renovated about five years ago, and has been very well maintained since. Its location away from the main drag, but an easy 5 minutes walk, made it nice and quiet and convenient. The owner was very helpful with suggestions for things to do and see. The bus ride to Apiranthos (€6.20 return) is well worth it, with breath taking views as it winds up the mountain.
