A little out of the way for city centre business, but used primarily by business people covering the south of the city. Formerly the hotel had been quite run down, generally tired and a little grotty. But thankfully it seems to have been through a bit of a refit and general tidy up of late. The room I stayed in has been refurbished. Spotlessly clean (with the exception of the bathroom, which is still a little grotty in places) with what seems to be new furniture and carpets. Free wifi and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is good with fairly quick service, essential for those heading off to meetings or work, as the majority of the clientele seem to be. I dont think I would stay for private use due to the location, but consider it perfectly serviceable for business in this side of town.
One caveat. Room service items hugely expensive. €4 for a 750ml bottle of warm water and €14 (inc €2 room service charge) for a prawn open sandwich seem a little excessive to me.More
