“Best breakfast we had in Italy. Nice family hotel.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 October 2013

I stayed there with my parents for 2 nights. They loved Nido Verde so much that they were debating which son they want me marry to. My mom thinks Alexandro is better looking and my dad likes Roberto better.
Anyway, we had our best breakfast there throughout our entire Italy trip. The best homemade breads and cakes. Room was nice and clean. We stayed in the Dali room, very tastefully decorated with Dali paintings. Visiting Amalfi and Capri is easy with bus and ferry. We parked in their secured parking lot then take buses to visit all the sites. I wish I had more time there in the local villages instead of touristy sites. I do like the southerners much better everyone I met there was helpful and warm.

Room Tip: Looks like there are big rooms on the second floor.

We stopped for a single night and changed our plans to 3 nights stay. we loved everything: the Modigliani room, the lovely breakfast, the warm hospitality of the family, the wonderful organic fruits, the perfectly clean hotel

More than all, we are grateful to Alexi, for his kind hospitality, for his knowledge of places to hike/to dine/ to buy, for his help with everything including the luggage and parking. He always smiles, always adds actions to answers: shows the way, gives a map and adds annotations to it, shows the restaurant and the shop…
We would love to enjoy the lovely place and the wonderful family again

Thank you so much,
Yael and Dan , Israel

Perfect place to begin the path of gods walk. Just a couple meters from the hotel. Room was very clean and new. Staff super nice, let us park the car there for the day after checkout. Great breakfast prepared by the dad. Felt very welcomed.

We stayed in August for five days and we never felt bored. We had the warmest welcome and our hosts helped us every day with some advice on what to do and where to go.
The room was immaculately clean.
Agerola is one of the best places to stay although it is a bit far from the coast. However, it offers amazing views over the coast. Every time you go down or up you'll notice different stunning scenery.

Our family of 5 spent two days at Roberto's family bed and breakfast. The converted home is lovely with a nice patio to sit and relax. The breakfasts are amazing feasts of local produce and delicious Italian breads. It's an easy bus ride up from Amalfi, take the bus labeled Agerola and stop in the town of Bomerano. Roberto is very helpful with information about the local area, and sis a great host. We would definitely go back and wish we had spent a few more days in the area

Perfect, amazing stay with the most wonderful hosts imaginable! Beautiful luxurious lodging, hosts that go above and beyond to an unbelievable degree to make sure guests have a phenomenal time. After a 2 week trip in Italy, it was very easy to say that my stay here was the highlight of my trip when I returned.

We stayed here only one night and wished we had stayed longer! More than anywhere else in Italy, here we felt welcomed and the owners truly went out of our way to assist and orient us. We walked the Path of the Gods, following Roberto and Alessandro's great advice about logistics (left our car at the hotel, hiked down to Positano through Nocelle and Montepertuso, took the ferry from Positano to Amalfi, then bus right back to the hotel to get the car). Their father--perhaps because we had our teenage children, or perhaps because he is a wonderful man anyway!--showed us his garden, had the rider of his horse show how the horse can do tricks, and even took us to a spectacular viewpoint at night. For breakfast, Geraldo made a delicious lemon cake, and other typical food of the area. We ate outside on the patio with tablecloths and fresh flowers on the tables. Everything about the hotel is thoughtful and well-done. The rooms, as others have said, are named for artists (we had Salvador Dali and Gustav Klimt) and decorated accordingly, as in a modern boutique hotel. The hotel is an amazing value, and we found it a relief from the tourist crush in Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi, and other places we had been (Cinque Terre, etc.). Here we truly felt like we were staying in a neighborhood, hosted by new friends, and we ended up learning more about the area than we would have otherwise. If you are thinking about hiking the Path of the Gods, stay here. If you don't want the tourist crush, stay here. If you want great hospitality, stay here. As others have said, there is not a view right from the hotel, but you get a greater sense of the geography and the people by traversing the hills by bus (recommended) or car (possible but terrifying!) or on foot, so your experience will be deeper here. We have wonderful memories of our stay in Agerola thanks to Roberto, Alessando, and Geraldo. Many thanks.
