We are a family with teen-aged children, very experienced in renting villas and Chalets in Europe. Free Holiday was one of our best choices. Minori itself is less crowded but still in reach by bus or car and has all the facilities. We had a car, so it was good to have a parking space by the villa. Parking and driving are an issue in the Amalfi coast. Even though we enjoyed the driving, the fact that we could leave the car and use other means of transportation was helpful. There is a local shuttle that goes by the aprtment several times a day and we found it very useful especially when going down the stairs to the village center.
The villa was very generously filled with ingredients and many means that are aimed to ease your stay. Anything from a candle to bug repeller.
The villa is actualy the mid floor in a 3 story house, but its location on the mountain side creates the private access and seperate yard for each floor. It is large enough to allow our children their space and the garden and terraces are perfect. This is before mentioning the view which is the main reason for getting to this area.
Antonio is very charming and assisted with every small detail. He was accessible by phone, text or email. Thank You Antonio!

Thank you for the time we had at Free House Holiday home- Minori- what a find this was. The owner Antonio could not have been more helpful, he met us in Minori and showed us the apartment- could'nt do enough to make our stay wonderful. The apartment was great with some fantastic views of the area. It was lovely to sit and eat meals or relax under the lemon trees- my girls really loved the hammock!!!!.
My advice would be to take some sturdy shoes as there are a lot of steps from the villa the the town centre- it certainly gets you fit!
Thank you Antonio for such a pleasant experience- would recommend this holiday to anyone. Will return

We just returned to U.S.A. (Va) after a faulous trip to Italy. We are 2 couples in our mid 60's who travel together and rent villas in different parts of Europe. Our week at Free Holiday was spectacular and one our best memories. We are so glad that we chose that villa and the village of Minori for our home base while exploring the Amalfi Coast and that area (Pompei, Herculaneum, Paestum, Salerno, Ravello, Positana, Amalfi, etc.). After visiting the other villages along the coast, we found them to be too touristy and crowded and were always glad to return to Minori and Free House. The villa had georgeous terraces with magnificent views where we enjoyed many breakfasts and cocktail hours. The villa was totally stocked with breadfast foods and practically everything we needed, including bottles of wine! And the villa was immaculately clean. Antonio was a wonderful host, who even loaned us his mobile phone during the week, and checked with us periodically to see if there was anything we needed. He also recommended a great restaurant in Minori that we went to more than once. And he even brought us a parting gift of 2 bottles of wine on our last night. We definitely recommend Free House and Antonio's hospitality. Would return in a heartbeat! Carol & Steve

Me and my wife wanted to spend vacation with our friends we kept in touch from primary school. We met in Rome and drove to Minori. This place was great. Big enough for 6 people, with all necessary amenities to make us feel as it was our own villa on the Coast of Amalfi. Antonio is a great host, and if his wive ever makes a cake, you will never want to leave the place. There is no need to drive a car, as the local boats and buses will take you anywhere you want to go. Traffic can be scary, so it is a better way to travel anyway. If you like spending time on the beach or in the water, visiting local villages, taking pictures of breathtaking scenery, eat ice creams (yummmy) or just having relaxing nap on the terrace in the shade of lemon trees, and don't want to break the bank to have it all, this is definitively your place to stay.

We enjoyed everything about this place and were made very welcome. We felt like we were living like locals and not tourists. Views were great and local attractions were easily accessible. The steps to the beach will keep you fit but there is a bus for the less able. Highly recommended.
