This Hotel was just perfect. You are in Minori so you cannot expect a quite and secluded room! The room was very clean in every aspect and well equipped. Wireless works great. The price was very good and the hotel Manager was very nice and really did everything to make our stay pleasant. She gave us a bottle of limoncello as a gift….how often does that happen?! Plus they have a beautiful dog…Igor I believe…a big puppy dog!
Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices!

The hotel is tiny and has a family atmosphere and we felt good. Good location downtown and near villa romana , of course I could not expect noiseless. The room and the bathroom were small but clean and well equipped with soaps etc. They served us a good aperitif and breakfast was very good, wide choice of beverages, juices , croissants, yummy cakes etc. we paid a very moderate fare and I was satisfied.

Very unfriendly staff. Seem clueless as to what decent (not even good or great) customer service entails. And, upon calling the hotel a day later to see if we had forgotten something in the room, the unfriendly hotel manager, utterly refused to speak any English.

The rooms (we had 2 as we are a family of 4) had not been updated in at least 30 years -- that includes sheets, towels, furniture, etc. The rooms were dirty. The rooms were extremely noisy. The beds were uncomfortable.

Having spent 50 Euro (which we feel was 30 Euro too many) on a dump of a room in the off-season... I can't imagine paying any more for this hotel in the high season.

This hotel seems to be taking advantage of tourists who come to visit a very busy place in Italy... and are charging far too much for their hotel and appalling services that they offer.

No matter way season, do not stay at this hotel. Hoteliers like this need to learn that to change their ways or be put out of business.

Do not stay here. Spend your hard-earned money somewhere else.

Room Tip: Stay far, far away from this hotel.

The only thing which was good about this place was a wireless internet connection.

Let me take you through our 1 night stay at this hotel..

Parking for the hotel is very limited. 5 parking spaces only. Upon arriving she forced me to park the car on her pavement over the line in the street, about 5 inches from cars, lorries and coaches passing continuously down the street . She demanded that it was still her property and we should pay the parking fee.

Room had no air condition. Temperatures close to 40, only one fan and the only window we could open, led to the same level with a street with cars passing and horns honking. we ended up shouting to communicate. Besides we had no net to stop any insects from coming in.

Room was very old. That did not bother us. However floor was dirty, my feet were black after a minute of walking within the room. Besides that, within the shower there was standing water below the shower carpet. On one of the walls we could see something disgusting the size 1cent euro which I have no idea what it was..

The staff must think they are the only ones with a hotel. She ran out of the building literally yelling how I should park my car on the pavement of her hotel. she must have been trying to be helpful but that is no way how to talk with people you just met.. let alone tourists at your hotel.
He clothes were dirty. Moreover I asked her if I had to pay for the parking since it was on the pavement on the street and obviously she said "why not? That is my property!!"

We skipped breakfast completely. So I cannot comment about the food.

The price was very cheap. However I have been to other hotels which were far more decent than this for the same price. I mean I was not expecting super service, but definitely a least a clean room with a net to keep out insects... jeez

A good opportunity for spending few nights in a budget hotel (double room for €60 or less, breakfast included) in the beautiful Minori. The location is superb, just in front of the roman ruins of the Villa Marittima. you can walk in few minutes to any location of interest in Minori, and also Maiori is just 20 minutes away of one the most scenic walks you will ever tread. The hotel is clean and offers all the basic services; the staff is usually friendly and helpful, specially when it comes to suggesting paths, shops or restaurants. The best way to make sure you will be well treated is to not give anything for granted and involve the staff by asking them about whatever you may need to do or know.
now the weak points; the rooms of the first floor can be noisy, as the hotel is located in the very bottom of a hairpin curve, close to a small waterfall; bathrooms are really tiny, and the sink, as was commonplace in the '70s in Italy, are in the room and not in the bathroom, it may be annoying but it becomes a benefit when there are several people using the bathroom. the parking is small, but this is a problem of the whole area, not just of the hotel. Breakfast is about the same you can get in this price range hotels in italy; expect a lot of packed snacks.

We stayed one night here in March and we were satisfied, especially considering the price we paid. We had the hotel to ourselves since it was off season. And we were able to park our car in the hotel parking lot.
The room we stayed in was clean; however, the beds weren't extremely comfortable. We had a room with a balcony that looked onto the main street, which was nice. We didn't experience the noise problem that others did, but that may be due to off season and location of room. Our room was the furthest from the noisy turn in the road - the top left room when facing the hotel.
The hotel is located in a neat town with less tourists than Amalfi. Hotel is a block away from the sea.
The staff was super friendly but their English was good enough. Would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here in Sept 2011 for 2 nights. The Hotel is located just up the hill a little with the main road that wraps around both sides of the hotel. As the roads here are very narrow, trucks and buses toot when approaching which means its very noisey. I dont think it would matter which room you were in. The room was small but not too cramped, with a little balcony. The ensuite was also small, which is fine, but was not clean. There was sand and dirt around the sink and the shower wall needed a good scrub. Breaskfast appeard to be a big spread with lots of cheese and cold meats, cereal (tasteless) and crossants etc. However, the cutlery and coffee cups were not clean. And to make things worse, we saw the old lady who was clearing the plates put some cheese that someone had left back on the serving platter of cheeses!!! Yuck! No wonder after staying there i was sick for 2 weeks, while we cant absolutely attribute it to this place, its my feeling.... Wouldn't recommend staying here, espeically when we saw their peak season prices, glad we stayed off peak!
