We got a recommendation for this place from friends who also love food. We could also get the recommendation from Angela Merkel if we would know her personally (roumours say that she is a frequent guest at Terra e Sapori).
The owners were kind enough to accept us for lunch despite the place being opened for dinner only that day. That gave us plenty of time to chat with them about the dishes, cooking, recipes, etc - a great experience.
The parmigiana is great indeed; one of the best we have had anywhere. No wonder - they grow their own tomatoes and can them so that they have a taste of summer available throughout the year. Some nice, home-made pasta with uncommon sauces were a nice refreshment as well. The star of the meal was definitely the rabbit (no pre-order required unlike in many other places). My wife had it for the first time ever (prejudice) but it was one of two of her favourite dishes in all the vacation.
During the same holiday, we also visited a two Michellin star restaurant on the island. Terre e Sapori wins the battle without any doubt!
